I'm in Culinary School and this was my Sandwich Du Jour! Taken right after plateing and just before serving (5 years and 3350 days ago)
Hard to type...drooling on my keyboard! Good job!
Thank You
mmmmmm... maybe I shouldn't look at these entries right at lunch time
So, why is this called "Green Chili Cheeseburgers?" I don't see any chilis.
That bacons looking good
The green chili is actully mixed in with the patties I know you can't see it but thats the name of the acutal burger lol You can also make it with Jalapenos if the chili is to hot ( the chili I used was pretty hot!) But it also has a Spicy Ranch Sauce and the burger is grilled with a brown sugar based gazle to help off set the heat from the green chili. Yummmmmo!
Note to self: Don't medicate before looking at pictures of food!!!!
Looks tasty! GL!

The famed restaurant The Band Box, more casually known around these parts as The Box, was a truly greasy and wonderful diner in the south part of downtown Little Rock. The burgers were greasy, but they were good and you could find every sort of businessman and politician rubbing elbows with the common folk -- sometimes even at the same table. The place was tiny. I loved to sit at the bar and watch the burgers being made. This incarnation of the restaurant closed in June but the new location is supposed to open this month less than a mile away. I wonder if they're moving the grill with everything else; I can't imagine how the burgers would get that trademark flavor otherwise. (5 years and 3417 days ago)
I should have mentioned... back in his Arkansas years, The Box was one of those great hamburger places where you could sometimes find a young governor by the name of Bill Clinton.
Wonderful story, but you need to do some curves and colour correction, at the moment the food looks rather unappetising.
friiskiwi, I'm still learning Photoshop (as in, just started using it a few weeks ago). Would you be able to direct me to a tutorial dealing with curves? I'm very interested in learning. I appreciate your comments.
will do
great story, but I doubt the burgers will ever taste the same again.............part of the charm would have been the location!
agrees with ade.
Oh and curves: image/adjustment/curves or Ctrl/M Although I doubt curves would help you much.

Oh those fingernails were the first things my eyes landed on and I see the potatoes are not peeled? Very unusual sight to my eyes, hope they wash them at least LOL. A great shot, full of story, it is a fun photo.
I'm sure they do wash them first. Their fries are delicious (much better than the burgers)
I just had some fish and chips (fries) for supper but there was no logo on the meal...I am a potato fan!
