It is the end of the lunar month. Families in Vietnam, who have lost loved ones, burn fake money. The reason for this burning is to provide wealth for those who are in "heaven" (or hell as was explained to me this afternoon by a young man with a beer in his hand, and a smile on his lips). These are fake 500,000 dong bills being burned on our street this morning. (5 years and 1000 days ago)
