I like the deliberate garish look you've achieved which is so appropriate to the title. In my opinion, if you'd been making eye-contact with yourself in the mirror, it would've been a more engaging shot.

I did use a tripod and a remote. Recommend them to anyone into taking self portraits.

Agrees with your recommendation. But most cameras have timers.

When I got my canon, the focus would be off if I used the built in camera timer. I got the remote so it would be focused better.

Beautiful model. The pond's (or whatever that is) stillness and the sky match well. The foliage presents a nice break in them. Wouldn't mind just a tiny bit more sky over her head, but overall a very nice shot

Thanx for the warning @adeincyprus. The picture was taken with an app called Histamatic, there is no editing involved on this picture, except the lens choise, I thought extra editing afterwards is not allowed. But when this gets pulled, it gets pulled. Nothing to do about that. I just thought it was a beautiful mist pic. I can crop the pic when necessary, thanx anyway!

Author it's a great shot why not just crop the border out and edit your entry so it doesn't get pulled?
