This is a pretty cool effect. Might crop it so it's more isolated in the lower, right corner (for example) to emphasize the blackness.
Thanks, and thanks for the advice, but somehow almost centering the patch of falling water emphasizes the circular pattern as lit by the candle better, though you obviously prefer to increase the "mysterious" darken effect which, critically, might make it look artificially contrived.
