A cool building just up the street from my parents house. I think this was roughly a 30 second exposure. In post I kept wanting to do some sort of color swing or sharpening effect, but nothing I did seemed to make it any better. Just goes to show that sometimes a picture stands its ground! I did end up doing just a slight brightness contrast move to make my blacks a tad darker than they were. (5 years and 3042 days ago)
This is really good just the way it is Love the building & the lens flare adds to it too!
Very nice... you might consider cropping just a bit from the right

you aperture is WAY to open, you need to close down so more than just the wheel of the car is in focus, the lighting and scenery are nice, but you can't see much of the subject clearly
I disagree completely with dem90, the dof is great on this one. I like how the focus falls off at the back. The only thing that I would say should be different is that I think this would benefit from a bit more fill light on the front.
Thanks Locks, I was after this effect, but arguing with negative critics sounds too much like complaining. I was hoping other members would see it different.

Interesting effect - It's like the car is stationary, and the sidewalk and parked cars are moving!
Thanks, MossyB. That was the idea, i.e. to do things the other way around.
great effect.
