great shot, how many did you have to take?

Lot's.
I took about 20 photos with different settings.
Some of them where blur,others with out traces & i took a couple of "good ones"
2 mayb 3 of them where decent enough to post them here!
I was lucky that the camera was fitting on the cars mirror so i have less motion blur.A friend of mine was driving.

:lol: well, if i were the biker, which i've been lucky enough never to be caught in the rain like this when on a bike....i'd be cursing nature for planning such a downpour. kinda seems like nature did fight back. :P

I have to agree with Glamour Girl, this to me does not represent Nature reclaiming her own, taking back a man made creation and reabsorbing it into nature. Perhaps the aims of this contest require further explanation on that point. Cool shall ask. Have a great day all.

It's on theme. It's raining and the subject is on a bike. Trust me, coming from someone who has ridden a bike in the snow, it's a fight!

Without wanting to turn this into a crucifiction, Glamourgirl you have 1000VP, you need to pay some closer attention to the shots if you are going to vote for them - we don't want someone to get 10 low votes in a contest because you didn't see the rain!

Having said that, I think the shot is pretty good, but the background such as the mail box is in better focus than the subject. A good panning shot would have been nice here to create a haze of the rain, but this is still nice and a good 'on the run' capture.

Nice texture here but the glass decreases the clarity of the photo (in high-resolution)
May be you should take a shot with out the glass & see the difference.
Maybe it's better with out the glass.
Just a thought.

I think this IS without the glass... I know the high-resolution sucks, that's because of my camera... And I don't have the filter anymore, we threw it away...

this is really cool except the the lower left corner is way out of focus. If it were used for an actual pattern or texture, the whole image would need to be focused.
