Fattening up some Beef. (5 years and 1205 days ago)
What a lot of tall grass, they should be fat in no time.
They fatten up in about 6 months and then the poor things get sent to the slaughter yards and end up in the supermarket for human carnivore consumption. :-0
Great shot!
Thanks.
great picture! love the grass swaying!
Thanks

Judge (Hanging Judge) Parker had a quick answer to convicted cattle rustlers. Make a noose with 13 knots, hang with a little slack and schedule at sunrise. (5 years and 2893 days ago)
It looks like you used a flash for this shot.
An other angle/direction of the light would have been better. The way it is now it is too harsh!
A nice idea tho...
I understand. I'll re-shoot with different set up.
I'm not usually a fan of hard flash, but in this case I agree with Nator, the image has a great feel.
Thanks all of you. I like this look also, but will continue to experiment for the learning process.
I don't know. I don't usually think of nooses as being shiney and bright. It somehow doesn't look as ominous. It's a really nice shot, though.
Some medieval historians say that nooses with 13 knots were reserved for royalty hangings only. Those lucky bastards probably were given the privilege of being hanged with new shiney ropes too.
I had an idea of doing one of these .... but I can't remember how to tie one lol Guess it's the chopping block for me

I don't know if you meant to have the animal laying down, I feel it would make it easier on our eyes if you turned the image 90 degrees.
