This is a Night Blooming Cereus. It only blooms once per year, only at night. The next morning they are all dead. (5 years and 1137 days ago)

This is a "Night Blooming Cereus." It is on a cactus vine (see SBS) and only blooms at night, and only on ONE night per year! The next day, they are all wilted and gone. The blossom is about 8 inches (20 cm) across. (5 years and 2706 days ago)
WOW.... that's beautiful, thankyou for putting the other shot in the sbs too, it's very interesting
Wonderful, especially with the explanation and the SBS
Wonderful! Well done, author
One night per year? A truly one-night-stand
Beautiful photo ... the story reminded me of the movie Dennis the Menace, with Mr. Wilson and his flower ...
