I'm all for technicality but I think that's a little extreme. It looks like a square to me, I'm sure if I busted out a micrometer, the squares of the chess board wouldn't be perfect either.

You should place the mirror closer to the board so theres no "gap" between the squares.

I was thinking the same think Karaflazz. But after pushing the chessboard up against the mirror, the mirrored reflection didn't quite line up like I liked, but your critique is much appreciated. At this angle the reflected checkerboard corresponds with actual checkerboard, if you know what I mean
