The lighting looks a bit odd - The tones are too warm, overall - she looks like she's been into the spray tan too heavily, and the contrast of the lighting makes her cheek area look almost "blown out" bright...

sweet
Well MossyB! All made in purpose, I took the shot with no flash to make her face look like Chocolate, she is at the end my "Little Chocolate Love"
But thank you any way!
Friiskiwi, you are the sweetest person ever! Thank you!
I love the tones here. I see nothing wrong with them. My only concern is the focus but the tones are great and the framing is awesome. The idea to get that chocolate look was a good idea and nicely executed! Very pretty girl
Thank you Nator! She enjoyed every second yesterday being my model!
Thank you MnMCarta! Because I did not use the flash I think the focus was a little off!
I appreciate that a lot! Thank you again for your lovely comment! She is my sweetheart!
Great shot and love the idea to use the chocolate as "make up" It would be a great photo if the focus not a little bit off, or probably taking another round of photo and chocolate session as she enjoyed it very much Probably making the "cat" make up? And pre-focus and tripod would help as I assume, it's low light environment
Yes Riady! Thank you so much for your advice, much appreciated!
I wish I could re-shoot but she is down with the flu now, maybe when she feels better I will take your comments in consideration and make another shoot project me and her!
That's a cute little chocolate lover. I like the lighting and the tone myself. Nice picture equals nice vote.
Thank you lchappel! Much appreciated!
Reminds me of the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz - cute
Yes fallingHorse lol, thank you so much!

"1 cup plain flower" you mean roses, tullips...?
Roses of course, Hmm, better make a correction, still it's nice to know people actually read.
I think this could have been presented better. I would have moved the matches and all of the utensils around it and then came in closer to the cake so that the background would have been blurred. Possibly even put a plain tablecloth under it and had someone hold one side of the tablecloth up for your background.
You are of course right, but this was taken just as it started to pour down, I have other photos taken inside, but they all have people in them.

Nice set-up but too light. The highlights are blown, look at the leaves, and the chocolate and strawberries look a little flat. I'm sure you have eaten them by now, see what you can do. Good Luck
Thanks friiskiwi, hope update is a little better. Couldnt re-shoot, as you said, they were all gone within about 10 mins of turning off the camera. lol.
This does look much better, I'll have one now, please.
Yummy, I love Strawberries and Chocolate!
