Beautiful clarity, but the composition is a bit too target centered.
You might consider cropping the left side to the edge of the woman in white's face, and possibly a bit more off the top. Since you've cut off the top of the ball, trimming the side will help de-emphasize that side and make the photo look less like a "snapshot."
It's a long way away, which you had gone a little closer.
I can appreciate what you're saying, but the distance is exactly what I liked about the shot. It just seems sometimes that so many Christmas decorations are so over the top and "in your face," that I really liked the subtlety of the lone set of lights off in the distance with nothing but the empty hills for company. (Also, I didn't want to tromp through 4 feet of snow through the fields to get closer)
I really like the "pristine" undisturbed snow between you and the lights...
