A stave church is a medieval wooden church with a post and lintel construction related to timber framing. The wall frames are filled with vertical planks. I'm afraid not, it's one of my favourite places though about 650km (8 hours driving) south of here.
I'm going back in a couple of month time, and hope to get to see the stars this time.

I'm not a big fan of the overburned clouds. The blacks are way to dark, and your whites are gray, you need less contrast to to brighten the image
I thank you for the comment, but I wanted to leave a dramatic sky, after the rainy day
