Hi Author, are you sure this is a cicada, check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cicada? anyways, GL 
Quite positive. Techincally, this is the cicada skin left when a cicada molts. Look further into the link you sent for more details....
Ok, now i see. I'ts because that do a lot of macro photography lately so i was just curious thx for the info and GL.

we have these things here, they make such a noise....!! a good capture, well done, could use a little contrast imo.
