Love the concept and the picture is crystal clear. I'd add a tiny bit of fill light to it though so that your face doesn't look so underexposed. As it stands, though, this is great. All the best!

What great dedication, put half of that dedication into your thesis and you should do really well. Really impressed that you got such clarity holding your camera in on hand while hitting yourself.

do you have 10 foot arms? How did you hit yourself with your right hand and take a picture with your left hand without the left arm showing? Do you mean you took it with a remote with one hand?

Nope k5683 no remote, cannot afford one, just long arms I guess I had to hold the camera slightly below everything in shot and shoot slight upwards to avoid getting my arm in the shot.

PS I was shooting with a Nikon D70 with a strobe flash attached, was heavy

after nine hours in that make up, it did come out quite well LOL (though I had to drink out of a straw all night LOL) very hard to do with a Corona LOL

Author, try merging your brackets in PS first then tonemap it in photomatix. You'll notice a huge difference in the tonal quality.

Locks, every time I've tried to merge with PS, the HDR looks... well..... WRONG! If you want to give me a technique to try, I'm all for it. but inthe meantime, it seems photomatrix is working for me.

I wanted to make an SBS on Photomatrix, mainly because there's a lot of members who I know would like to get a started on HDR, and Photomatrix seems like a good start.

I would just that xmas is here and I'm broke so won't have the program but having the sbs would be awesome to help us get started!
