6am outside my local pub, the morning after an England World Cup game. 3 bracketed exposures merged in Photomatix. Desaturated and brightness decreased in Photoshop. No sources used - all my own photos. (5 years and 3366 days ago)
i purposely made the focus kind of just on the cross to show its beauty, please no comments of being out of focus, im working with a temporary camera until my other one is fixed
i also hope you appreciate that the chain spells out PXL.... lol (5 years and 3374 days ago)
Nice depth of field and composition.
I like how you did the PXL in this and the depth is awesome but oof and the main focal point which I would think would be the cross is OOF. It has GREAT potential though
I agree with MnMCarta!
i like how no one read the description ..but thanks 4 the comments
I understand that your camera is out being fixed but at the same time why post something you yourself know doesn't have a chance to win? You don't gain anything from it...
I read it. Not sure that it matters, its the quality that matters. If I have learned anything here, it is that you do your best and don't make excuses for it. When someone tells me that my photo is OOF they don't ask if my camera is broken, most give constructive feedback while others just say that it's OOF. Good Luck.
i know its OOF thats why i asked for no comments on it..its not that bad, i see worse photos in this jewelry contest. but whatever i'll ask the mods to remove it.
Don't ask mods to remove it, it is on theme!
You know, you can ask to make no comment, but comments will come from the vote itself so...
The bad shots in this contest will simply get low votes....

Glorious High Res..
wow, jeani, you're right! Great image! At the beginning I was not so sure about the choice of the background but finally I think it's perfect and the result is very refined.
Thank you both.... I hope all will appreciate the Hi-res.
Definitely looks better in high res. I guess you didn't have any black rocks? GL!
I didn't actually.... Its all i had at the time LOL

Welcome to pxleyes Author!
This is an awesome shot and I really like the processing that you've done here unfortunately on this site the use of the layer mask isn't allowed in the photo contests.
Here are the rules so you know what is and isn't allowed

I would suggest changing your entry before it gets removed, if you'd like to do so go to:
My Stuff > My contest entries > Edit photo
But as I said before this is great, and I look forward to seeing more of your work on here!
Very moody and well done photo, however, as Locks has pointed out, the techniques you used for this entry are not allowed in photo contests here...
Thanks guys, really nice to hear that. I've deleted all the layers that used masks - the only layers now are adjustment layers (brightness and saturation) that apply to the whole image...
Top photo, well done!
And welcome to the wonderful world of Pxl

Wow very interesting and it has such great depth in this photo...I Love it!
Nice shot! GL!
Hrmmmm... is this literal trash here, or a metaphor for English football?

(j/k - welcome to the site)
