This is a piece of cuneiform. Cuneiform is some the earliest known writing in the world, from the "Fertile Crescent" (modern day Iraq). This piece is about 4,500 years old. It's a receipt for a donation of some sheep and goats to a temple. (5 years and 2261 days ago)
