Nice shot
Thanks kyricom
Self portrait taken in a dark room with the camera on a tripod using a cable release. No flash was used, just the bedside lamp was on.

great shot... i wish i could have my own studio...
Don't need your own studio for a shot like this, it was taken in a dark bedroom
jelguoce, sometimes only a flashlight used in a diferent angle makes all...it's cheaper and you can play with imagination!
Dear author, love the light and the title makes me remember "The dark side of the moon" from Pink Floyd. Great photo!
Glad you liked it Chrys

This looks more like a bright moon, rather than a sunset.
It was taken a 5;15 pm directly into the overcast setting sun with an f stop of 14. I didn't have a ND lens so this was the result. I had spots in my eyes for an hour.
Nice one. Did you used a "spot light measure" ? It would be a explanation if you pointed the sun. So the sun is well exposed and the rest of the picture si underexposed.
Honestly I wasn't sure what to do so I tried everything plus the sun was going in and out from behind the clouds. Also, this was shot up a canal and opening into a lake causing the reflection to be narrow.
