I had my model where extremely red lipstick. Then I desaturated the entire image a lot and because red was the only prominent color I think it really pops now. I'd love to select just the lips and really push it further, but that would be for a photoshop contest :) I also had to use a curses move to brighten it up a bit. As well as a bit of overall color correction to give it that sorta green tone, and some contrast adjusting. The whole image was lit by one light bulb in a hallway. (5 years and 3227 days ago)

we did take a ton of pictures till I got one where I liked what the smoke was doing. Went through about three cigarettes in an hour (EWWW)

that's my normal average, must be the stress from modding

I use a nikon D90.
I love the composition, the lighting is perfect, the posture, everything is amazing, but the expression of the model reads at peace to me, not alone. That is the only problem I have with this photo, is that it is staged, and the model is for the most part, blank. There is no real emotion i this. This is a perfect, your technique is amazing, I recognize your work when I see it because of your technique. But I don't always see a lot of emotion in your photos. I'm not saying that is bad, but it is something you need to be aware of.
Then i think that i should try harder to keep you satisfied from now on my friend...
I'll try to give a little bit more emotion to my photos.
After all i am a amature who's trying for his best!!!
