North Head Lighthouse, Disappointment State Park, Washington. The Lighthouse was almost hidden in fog but 300 meters from the shore it was a hot, sunny day! (5 years and 3121 days ago)

You have tried to make an ordinary photo interesting by using an extreme angle.I'm afraid it doesn't work for me.
It's angled just a bit too much, and looks more sideways, than artistic. The photo would be better in portrait, rather than landscape orientation. It's a good shot without the extreme angle, the rainy window makes a powerful backdrop for the beverage...
good shot but would change the angle

take a shot of something we usually find in a large quantities closely packed together
For all the travelling you have done you have never seen how they pack apples? They come in a great big wooden tub, usually found in supermarkets, packed somewhat closely together !!
I have to agree with the author here...everytime i see apples at the market, they are in a bag, many of them, packed together or in barrels and tubs..
Thank-you James - we can't grow apples in our climate (unless you count custard apples) so they are something that are usual to find in bags. I guess we all think that because something is freely available in our own part of the world, it might not be the case in other parts. Something I could keep in mind myself seeing that PXL is such a global site

I adjusted the contrast here, to get a little bit more of the silhouette. (5 years and 3127 days ago)

Very nice lighting from beneath. Or is this photo upside down?
Judging from the watter droplet. I don't think its upside down
The Damselflies generally have lighter color on their underside. The watter dropletts may have been reflecting the light upwards as well.
Nice shot author.
good find..
