Yes Ade, its wax. White wax with a dark mix of some type of grey coloring over it and rubbed down to reveal highlights.

a little dark, but I like it.

strangely, and probably not by design, the lighting in this is in reverse to that it should be.........the logs are lit, while the live tree trunk is in the dark....

correct me if I am wrong but this one looks definetly retouched on PS - look at the light parts around the ends of the branches and around the trunk- it is almost glowing(poorly masked) but I love the composition anyway!

My view is that tree is now dead, Kyricom...
