Once mighty beetle (5 years and 2324 days ago)
I'm not sure your white balance is correctly adjusted. It's a bit too orange/red (for me).
Thanks for the suggestion Artifakts - I reduced the saturation some and that seems to help. The scene is really orange red in real life at least to me. The car has a red rusty undercoat and the pine needles are mostly an orange color. Between me, the camera and the computer I guess the colors went haywire. This is about as good as I can do for now with it.
It's only my opinion but I feel it more realistic.
I had made a previous comment on this entry but I guess I forgot to hit the "say it" icon. Anyhow, I love this photo, and there is something about the hue that adds to the "dereliction" look of the beetle. Good luck on this one.
This is really good, I like the details displayed throughout your photograph, I wish you had been able to get the rest of the car in the frame. But it is very nice and should do well.
Thank you.

Very nice! Especially when viewed in Hi-res.
Good luck, Author
Thank you
At least there's a rope hanging down so you can climb back up
It looks like that swinging bridge has seen it's better days, very nice find.
Thank you, my daughter told me about this place, I had to drive a long way down some very dusty roads to find it.
