Zabriskie Point on the way into Death Valley National Park. Taken in color then converted via CS6 to b&w with applied red, blue, and cyan filters. (5 years and 2455 days ago)
Amazing view. I think it would look even better if some of the shadows reached black.

The background is not that distracting, as you did a good job at have a narrow depth of field; however, the image may have been improve by shooting more on the horses eye level.
