great shot, good timing... flash does a wonderful job of stopping split second action... looks a bit painful on the cowboys part.
Taken from across a large arena, the main flash was set to 1/8th manual exposure and the camera was also set to manual mode...high-speed burst of 8 fps, 1/90th, f/5.6, ISO 600....using a 28-135mm f/3.5 lens
