She had just lost her mate not to long ago and when the sun ray came out from the cloud and was pointing down at her i thought she looked like she was in her own little world and i didn't want to take that away from the picture, even though it could look better a little darker

Its not that it makes the shot bad, it just draws the eye away from your actual subject.
