A family of ducks occupy this creek bank. (5 years and 2927 days ago)
Cute fellows! They definitely know what they're doing.
A bit too dark, the ducks seem to blend into each other on the left hand side.
I had taken this picture with a 35mm camera back in 2003. I located the 4x6 print that I had made, and scanned it off. I guess I should have lighten it up. Thanks for the tip.

Quite the crowd she's gathered! Great color, focus and lighting. Nice job!
She certainly is the crowd pleaser Trivia fact: did you know that you can tell the males and females of these ducks (the Khakhi Campbells with the green heads) by their tail feather. The ones that have a 'curl' on his tail feathers is a male Slightly off track there but I couldn't help myself, they are a lovely duck.
Beautiful color, good luck!
blue duck !!! i have never seen a blue duck. Nice picture.. fit to theme.
The blue bird is a Pukeko;
The Pukeko, or New Zealand Swamp Hen is a member of the rail family, and is similar to other species found all over the world.
oh thanks for providing the information on that
