Thanks for all the comments. Everything is in its place in the shot IMHO. The distance to the subject gives sence of a vast empty space in between (about 10 kilometers by the way).

ok, but the contest says that you have to expect to find something there that it is empty of. so... what did you expect to find that is no longer there? what you say, that everything is "in place" would indicate that nothing is gone, it is not empty of anything.
