These are the graves of a couple, the wife was catholic and the man protestant, at that time they weren't allowed to be buried in the same grave. So each one had to be buried at one side of the wall. They connected the graves with these hands. (5 years and 3373 days ago)

Oh, ok. The "death" part threw me off
It's actually a quote from the story or the movie. I forget which. Disney used to be dark. And well Grim's versions are downright scary at times.
