Yes, I agree with you. I shot this one in a hurry many years ago and my brother has sold it allready It was hanging on a wall at tat time, a wall statue made of plaster and some other stuff.

I like the almost glowing effect on the skin. Was this purely because of the lighting or done through a contract adjustment, cos it doesnt look like it has affected the rest of the image.

Thanks guys, in answer to you question it's all of the above lol. I took careful consideration to lighting on this one, the balcony was well lit, but to get the girl to pop more I used a speedlite with a soft box. Then I pulled it into lightroom, used curves to bring up the lights and then used the noise filter (which does an incredible job of smoothing skin). Then some very minimal dodging and it's done
