the patterns in peacock feathers have been used many times to create fractal images, but I do not know if they are fractals in their own right!
I had a heck of a time getting this peacock to hold his tail still (5 years and 3504 days ago)

I did research on this one before submitting this entry and this is what I found here ( http://www.ehow.com/facts_5845682_living-fractal_.html ) "Still other fractals associated with living things are peacock feathers, Queen Anne's Lace blooms, the veins of some leaves, and many others."
then it is a fractal, well done....

thank you ! It was shot in a street carnival during the night. I had the chance that a spolight was pointing exactly his face. (Well, not really a chance, because I went there 4 hours before the begining just to take a good place for pictures ^_^ )
