This was set by an arsonist who robbed the place and then set it on fire. Very sad, but the good news is they caught him later.

I made no adjustments. Takes on a manual shutter release using my lighter to create the effect. Exposure time about 12 seconds.

I agree. The bird takes your eyes away from the flame.
Unfortunately he was having a bath and didn't want to move! Although I should have taken it from a different angle so he wasn't in it, I just thought it added some further interest. Next time
Authour - the horizon looks a little crooked to me .... maybe it's just that damn bird!
