The painting was done about 30 years ago with a box of oil paints given to me 10 years earlier as a birthday present. It took me that long to get round to using it. (5 years and 2815 days ago)
it would be nice to have a high res.
Funny thing about this "Hi Res" It doesn't work all the time though I've ticked the check-box always.

I assume the image was larger than 476px × 800px.
Suggest you upload the image again, and tick the check box again. I often find you need to do that if the High res wasn't uploaded the first time.

lovely shot, the light really makes this one.
Thank you very much friiskiwi. This shot was quite fortuitous. I had just finished taking a couple of other shots of the guitar and was about to put it back into its case when a well-placed shaft of light from the window fell across the guitar exactly where you see it now. No positional adjustments at all were necessary. As the saying goes, what is planned seldom happens, what happened is seldom planned.
