I snapped the one on the left with my husbands point and shoot in November from a taxi.

Very awesome photo, you may want to consider cropping just above the street lamp post IMO.
I know what you mean, but Iike seeing more f the Wheel and according to the guide lines it should be O.K.;
"Surrounding objects are allowed as well, but focus your camera on the symmetric subject."

That looks more like something from DaVinci. The Wright Brother's plane was a biplane. Still cool, though
Definitely DaVinci's concept of a flying contraption. Interesting still
This wasn't the plane the Wright Brothers became famous for, it was one of the early prototypes.
