I enjoy sitting on the jetty off the beach of New Jersey to just watch the waves as they role in. I love this picture! So peaceful. I love that I was able to stop the wave just as it curled and the bird flying above just an added bonus! (5 years and 943 days ago)

I bet you were excited to capture this photograph. Shot against the sky the geese really pop out nicely and the three is the magic number our brains love. Don't know if you know this but geese mate for life!

Yes, I was very exited to capture this shot. These geese were just flying by when I grabbed my camera and shot this Wow! I didn't know that they mate for life!

Yes, they do. I lived with our Canadian Indians up north and they hunt these geese. It was quite sad when one was shot down the mate would circle and cry and eventually would get shot down too. They make really good eating, dark meat but sometimes you get a shotgun and that will crack your teeth. Now you know
