I really like what you're going for here author and the black and white helps this a lot (I don't think it would have looked nearly as good in color). I would play around with the crop a little bit though. This isn't bad at all! I just think that, by pulling it out or cropping it tighter, you may be able to get it looking even better. All the best!

This is very nice, but how is it an "Arts and Crafts?"
Easy, the Thai women fold these lotus flowers so that the locals buy them then offer them to monks or place them into temples or local shrines. Made by hand, they are a decorative handicraft.
See where kyricom was coming from in the remark,sometimes still its good to give a brief description of the photo,have had similar remarks on a couple of mine
