looking down from the top of our local grain elevator...
and normally i'm afraid of heights. and clausterphobic. had to ride a tiny little service lift to get to the top. *meep* the things i do for art. (5 years and 3416 days ago)

The lift is very confined and once on top if heights bother you, this would be nerve wracking.
Most folks would not even get in the lift.

it wasn't so bad once i got up there. but seeing the ground from where i stood made me kinda...well... bleeeehhhh. you know. i wore flip flops up there...and almost tossed my camera off the side accidentally when i tripped over some conduit going acrossed the top of the elevator. i would have managed to fallen on my face, but the camera would have been in pieces below.
needless to say, i don't think i'll be going back up there for a while. that was enough of an experience.
