This is Cliffe fort, in kent. A napoleonic fort, with WW 1 and 2 additions. The place is very derelict, sections have collapsed, others very near to it, the whole fort is sinking into the grounds at a rate of a few inches a year, 5 years ago you could walk in the now water filled centre. Now the basement level is totally underwater and its claiming the ground floor as well.

I look closer and yes it is decaying, the bricks look better from a smaller view. *sorry*

The rocks ARE the wall. The battlements on top and its topography combine to create the walls of the fort.
