A while back I bought and old trunk at an auction. Little did I know that there was still stuff inside it. They had trouble opening it, so when I bought it, the lid was tuck shut. After taking it to a few places and when we got the lid open I found a bunch of old legal books and not from a lawyer. I sold the legal books, didn't have much interest, but I loved the handwriting on the note pads, so elegant. There is an up close detail in the step by step of the handwriting (5 years and 2911 days ago)
so lovely that picture
What a great find, as the top and the bottom is too dark to see the details in trunk, I would crop some of it.
What did the letters talk about? That's so interesting and such a nice shot here
Thanks everyone^_^ Friiskiwi, I'll play around with some different compositions then, and MnMCarta, it was just legal notes, they really weren't letters. it looks like whoever owned the trunk originally was some kind of legal attorney, but reading what was left of them was pretty interesting. I have to be extra careful handling them, I've destroyed 2 pages already on accident
