this is a very nicely composed image -- wonderful use of HDR (I assume) -- am sure this would be great without HDR as well

Very cool. Love the pattern and exposure etc. Good idea to make it vertical, but did you try it the other way around so it looked like it was kind of expanding into the air? Just a thought.

And yes I have tried it up side down, but then you have light on the bottom of the pic. and then darkness on top, and I thought that looked depressing, if that makes sense.
