In case everyone is wondering what this is, it's a 'honey' apple. See those pockets of discoloration, well that is sweetness taken to the next stage. These are a popular fruit in Korea and in Japan.
YOU are sweet )

taken at a 1940s event today, this was a vintage Austin van byilt 1936 and at the back was fruit and veg at 1940s prices (5 years and 910 days ago)
Well seen and well taken. Nice colours and framed by the truck we cannot help but look in deeper. I like seeing that farmer through the window. Technical elements well done.
thanks still

Excellent presentation. The apple gives the appearance of being a fresh, healthy product. There is also great space, particularly in the upper right corner to give a simple message.
Thank you so much @dhoebeke! I'm new to photography and I really appreciate feedback and opinions.

I am not an apple farmer but if I was I would want my apples to look this way. Water, is life giving, as is the apple and you have married the two together in a beautiful way. The dof could be sharper and did you use a tripod? I do love the light source shining from above. I can hear the crunch. The fact that you chose a nice black background further punctuates the main focal point. Love the crop for it is out of the box thinking and it works.
Thank you very much for your comment! I want to say yes I did use a tripod but I think I actually didn't (I should have) In the end I ended up putting a black vignette around the photo to get it a bit darker.
It is still a very lovely presentation.
Thank you very much!
Congratulation, a beautiful simple photo. Well done.
