The Greeks who came to Egypt in the Ptolemaic Period soon began to mix with native Egyptians, and adopt their cultural believes and rituals, particularly those related to death. Thus the Greeks mummified the bodies of their dead, but they cared about outer appearance of their mummies at the expense of mummification process itself. They introduced funerary plaster masks, decorated with painting, that went all way down to the chest. (5 years and 3519 days ago)

I'm sure the statue is behind glass but if the glass wasn't there, I'd never know different. See where I'm coming from? I have to take your word for it.

Well, jawsh, you know, most of the museum stuff is behind the glass, and even more, it is glass boxes, so from mmmm.... many shots it is coming few, (where their lightning set good) that could be used for this contest. Or just come here, we'll go to museum together, I'll give you a tour . How else can I prove that it is behind the glass?

You can't so it's probably not a good on theme entry.

author says:

Jawsh, "but the glass has to be as clear and transparent as possible." -- that what said in the rules of contest. And same time you're leaving comments, that glass with water drops and reflections of the roof is absolutely on theme?
