The dovecote tower was built in 1910 by the owners of Rivington hall in Lancashire. All floors except the top floor was used to house pigeons. It stands at the top of the the old terraced gardens, and is a stones throw from Rivington Pike, Lancashire.

A new tourist attraction in Singapore. Acres of gardens, horizontal and vertical, climate controlled and natural, and the big structures are "super trees" connected by a sky-bridge. (5 years and 2823 days ago)

Thanks friiskiwi. December would be a good time as it is less hot and also you have the lights of Christmas then. Other attractions there include the huge air-conditioned flower dome and the vertical garden with an indoor waterfall.
