Well, I certainly hope that makes you feel better. But, of course, you're wrong (aside from you meaning "these" instead of "there's". The word "billboard" stems from the past where there would be an actual board at the entrance to towns where tradesmen could post their "bills." Not bills like an invoice, but basically advertisements for what they do. thus, the name, "billboard." There are no requirements as to size, and these signs advertise goods and services. What's the problem?

Fish and Game officials have now found a home for a recently captured American Bald Eagle that had apparently been shot and left for dead. The national symbol was discovered along Route 61 near Pottsville two days ago and was taken to a local vet who provided emergency care for the wounded eagle and housed it until officials could determine if the bird would survive and find a permanent home where continuing care could be provided.
Knobels Family Theme Park once again answered the call as they now provide housing and care for two other Bald Eagles whose injuries also keep them from returning to the wild. The newest addition will be named Benjamin and will reside at the park starting next week after his recovery from necessary life-saving surgery to amputate half of his right wing. "His injuries will prevent him from being able to fly and therefore hunt prey to keep himself alive, " stated a spokesperson from PA Fish and Game.
"At this time, we have no suspects in the apparent shooting of the National Symbol, but our investigation is ongoing. We need the public's help in locating the individual responsible for this senseless act." said Fish and Game official Dave Duffy Jr.
The Department of Fish and game, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary and Knobel's have created a fund that would provide for a $5,000.00 dollar reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or person's responsible for the shooting.
Harming or killing of a Bald Eagle is a Federal and State offense. (5 years and 3536 days ago)
