This photograph was shot during the "magic hour" everything lite up in gold-I waited until the two herons were in perfect symmetry. stuck my 35mm and zoom lens through a hole in a fence for a tripod-I used kodak Gold 200 film (5 years and 3370 days ago)

have you used some kind of filter on this image author?
They may range in size from pebbles to boulders, but should be separate from the land itself.
this looks like part of the land, a boulder or rock is something that can be moved. IMO
well it looks like part of the land but it's not and that makes it very interesting it has sand all around it and beneath it , it is actually one piece of rock...
no i haven't used a filter or any kind of filter for that matter i only used contrast so that the shadows can be shown to be quite heavy, so that it looks like a chicken the rest is natures work thank you...
