For those who are interested in World War 2, here is the first house liberated by the allied forces (UK) during the D-Day in Benouville, Normandy. It was the home of Mr and Mrs Gondrée.
Now, that house is a café-restaurant where every veterans of the WW2 have been at least once !
If you have the chance once to go there, please stay a while at the terrasse and wait for a veteran ... They are so proud to tell to the poeple their history, and I assure you, you won't loose your time ! (5 years and 2627 days ago)
