many things are grass, but i do not think this is.

its a yucca plant. technically a cactus.
but like ponti said, it is an excellent shot.

Crop out the tree and this will be perfect

Thanks Locksmagic - I did wonder about the tree or if it would help 'anchor' the image - I shall have a go at it and see which I prefer.

Alright - I did crop the tree out but felt that the image was left a little unbalanced - perhaps because once cropped out the image is nearly in square format? Be interested in opinions on square formatted images

you might play with cropping some of the sky out with the tree out... see if that "unsquares" it. lovely though!

Nice. I think the grass in the background distracts from the clump in the water. Still a very nice shot.
