Nice shot, but for this contest I feel the photographer needed to be more in focus.

This is a photo?
Yes it is...
can we see the high resolution?
Heavy contrast?
Not too heavy contrast, just good lightining, and sorry, but I do not like to upload hi res of my photos.
It's funny that you say that Author, because as I go through you're portfolio I see that almost every one of you're previous entries have a high-res attached to them...
Author, your entry is being challenged, as has been ssaid, you have uploaded Hi Res before, so please upload the Hi Res for this shot.
Hope you're all glad...
Very nice Author. With a photo like this you should definitely upload a hi-res for 2 reasons, first to show off what a nice shot you made and two you will certainly get a higher vote.
it would be need to have a SBS of this actually im curious after i saw the Hi-res, but if SBS isnt allowed im just curious on how you took the shot x]
Oh lord... let's not start asking for an SBS for every shot. This is a great shot, well executed (although it doesn't really imply "levitation" all that much IMHO), but how it's done isn't really one of the mysteries of the universe.
excellent image, but as kyricom says, it does not really convey levitation.
i love the pic but i to am confused as to how this is done without manipulation...first thought possible tiled background but then that idea doesnt work either...but what puzzles me is why the inside of the glass (middle of pic caused by light play or something) isnt visible like it is in the black part
Just take a black background, and a big white paper, put the glass with the water in the middle and play with the light to avoid shadows. The water in the glass will invert the background. Try it nita1983! After you took the picture, you have to play a little with the brightness and contrast. That's all! And i think if we can't see the ground, where the glass is standing, than we can say it is levitation....
thanks author..ima gonna give it a try and play around a lil...thanks
speechlesss.... !!!!! awesome n incredibl shot
thanks author that was perfect i was wondering about that
and i was just curious if they could have a SBS thats all nothing else
but since the author explained it in the comment thats good enough for me
