It's a strange framing to give the focus on the birds. You should have tried to put the structure at 1/3 of the photo, it would have been more eloquent.

I agree with Artifakts...this photo has a lot of potential, with the birds on bouy (sp) if it was possible a change of angle would of been good. the leading line of the cable might of been useful also, or just wait for the ship to move into a better spot. Horizon line is placed well, and the exposure for the post/birds is good. thanks for sharing

Wonderfully close capture for this sometimes shy of humans bird. I wonder if a slight increase in saturation wouldn't help confiscate to the dulling effects of an overcast day. Good capture here, and I especially light the off center placement of your subject.
