I took this photo of my hand in front of my computer monitor while holding a pair of polarized glasses so it cut out half the light from the monitor.
However when you do this without a camera you can see the light reflected off the hand and it looks extremely weird, I recommend you try it. However the effect doesn't work through a camera for some reason. (5 years and 3636 days ago)
i cannot remember the exact exposure time, around 3 seconds, f/5.6, iso 800, take with my D5000 (5 years and 3644 days ago)
If you right click the image in 'My Computer', then clik on 'Properties', 'Summary, 'Advanced', you will be able to see your shutter time and a lot of other information about your image.

I disagree. I think your light source is fine. If it makes light and is but one source, then it's a light source. GL!
a polarizing filter on the lens might have worked.
The idea is great, but I think that the composition should have been better (imho)
