niceee...
Thank you
Nice! good thinking GL
Thanks
Dear author, are here two photos? I take a look carefully at the HI-RES and my impression is that it's only one photo separated by a fine line because even at the background the points matches. The contest mentioned: "Create a diptych (2 photos side-by-side) of items (or people) that go together. ". Sorry if I'm wrong here. GL!
There are indeed 2 photographs, taken carefully and then joined even more carefully, colour matching the images. I'm happy to see I achieved what I set out to do. I will post the original images in the SBS.
The rules do say "side by side". This is a great shot, but not sure if it follows the goal as stated.
side by side
Part of Speech: adjective, adverb
Definition: next to each other
Synonyms: abreast, alongside, beside, cheek by jowl, cheek to cheek, juxtaposing, parallel, shoulder to shoulder, side-by-side
Great! Very Creative! Good luck!

You are allowed to use editing software to place the photos next to each other and add (if wanted) a small border between them. Photos should be side by side.

The softness of this image is really nice...it grows on me.
Thanks. It was actually shot on 4x5 film which is ultra sharp but I stretched some black hosiery over the lens to soften it. It made a bit of a glow. These days people do it in Photoshop but before digital we had to be more creative because there was no post-processing.
