You are allowed to crop.... Crop it and resubmit. Its a great shot and worth cropping.

Was going to say that it was a shame that you cropped the bottom of the fingernail off but then read the above comments

It looks upside down, because the eye expects to see the knife blade on the bottom, but I like the mood!

MossyB, I think your judgement on photos are very good, you are also very good at putting into words what is good about them.Keep it up. Saying that you can't judge photos because you can't take them is like saying you can't tell if food is good if you don't cook.
